Clean up your work equipment.

When was the last time you checked your computer’s free hard drive space? Based on your last working load, it is quite possible that such space is practically full, or it is closely full at least. On the other hand, it is also possible that you currently notice your computer to be a little bit slower than it used to be months ago. Files take more time to charge, and even the equipment takes some time before getting ready to start working.

This actually provides us with a very simple solution that takes part of a better end of the year: Clean all of those documents up in your computer that are already useless, or that you simply have not opened for several months. Digital waste does not allow your computer working properly, and making a folder with all of this to be then deleted will allow you to improve its performance, but at the same time, it will work as a cycle closing related to all of those documents that you were creating and the performed work.

Do not you want or cannot get rid of a huge number of documents? You can run a backup in a USB stick or external hard drive to save it and free up space in your computer. It is something like a “digital dead file” that you can easily check if required.

It is also important that you perform this task with physical documents you have in your desktop and drawers. The main idea is about conducting a deep cleaning of everything you will surely not use next year. It is a fantastic way to end 2020!
